I recently updated to Office 2003. It's great but I can't find any of the
templates (such as "shimmer") that I used to use with Office XP!! Where did
they disappear and is there any way to get them back?? where should I browse
for them??
Is there any way to save templates used in old presentation for future use??
Thanks

Shimmer.pot is included with PowerPoint 2003. What other ones are you missing?
Maybe you didn't install the templates when you installed PowerPoint.

But you can open any presentation, delete all of the slides and go to View >
Master > Slide Master and then go to File > Save as > and save the file as a
design template (.POT). To find where they should be saved, see
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/powerpoint_templates.htm

Would I have to reinstall the entire office to get the templates, or is there
a way to install these from the installation CD directly???
Thanks

Do a custom install when you put in your install CDs. Then you can browse
through the various things to find all the templates.
