Seems to me mudfrog, you would be ideally placed to put some of those Macs to good use and get them crunching for our team

it started out as a hobby then i went looking for an IT job, have got one on an IT support desk (i do a bit more than just take calls) and now they take over most of my life, mainly for folding reasons!!!

Never going to be the next Richard Branson are we? :D

Listen up, when folks offer you cash - take it. Believe me, they'll actually feel better and you could at least then buy a much nicer toolkit, to suggest just one idea.

Think about it :)

My computer is my life!

I am an IT Recruiter (some folks call us Headhunters or even something fancy like Executive Search Consultant). Ehh, I am just a recruiter who recruits software developers, software architects, etc, for Software Development companies across the USA.

And yes, you *have* to have a PC to do this. ;-)

Both - my work is in business credit related to financing Dell systems (which means we have to know ALL about the hardware we finance).

I went to college for comp sci/mathematics so I always planned on working with computers, but now the actual technical stuff has become my hobby.

Hobby . It was either pc's or soaps . Both guaranteed to mess with your brain I know but pc builder sounded more glamorous than soap addict .

Hobby but I find more and more people bringing me stuff to fix and offering money.

Just may be time to start taking it. :D

computers started as a hobby to me playing games in the ZX Spectrum days, then me been me I liked taking things apart, hardware and software, so some studying was needed which intern lead to teaching computers, and onto what I am doing now

Both. Been using computers in college and in my jobs since 1992 and it's been a hobby since 1999.
