archiving in Outlook 2003

I have archive to automatically archive every 14 days. It is working fine
except a new archive folder is created each time. I would rather the
archived files and folders be added to one exisitng archive folder. I have
looked at options...autoarchive and I have also looked at
File...open...Outlook Data File. I cannot find an option to make this
happen. I have to open each archive folder to find the folder that was
archived. Is there a way to move the contents of existing archive folders?

I do not want every archive folder to appear in the Outlook folder list.
I unchecked the show arhive folder in folder list, but they are still
showing. (even after restarting the computer.

What file name shows in the Tools menu > Options > Other > AutoArchive
dialog?

Do any of the folders have seperate AutoArchive properties set that have
different PST files assigned

I right-clicked a couple of the archive folders and looked at the properties
and they look identical. But I did not know where to look and what to look
for. Can you give me some instruction?

I did look further and the file name includes the folder that is being
archived. And it looks like, the folders are updated whenever additional
files hit the date set to archive. Does that make sense.

Not the greatest organization system since I have to open each archive
folder to find the folder I want. Is there a way to change the name from
archive to the folder name or add the folder name to the word archive? The
rename archive option is grayed out when I right click on them.

Again, I don't necessarily want them all listed in Outlook Folder List but
they are still there even after I unchecked the box in options that said
"Show Archive Folders"

Any suggestions?

Personally, I'd check the box/button to archive to the default file so
you'll have multiple folders of stuff in one PST file (less places to look)

Yes, that is what I want to do, but I can't find where that box is. Can you
tell me what screen I need to look on to choose that option.

Right click on a folder, choose Properties, AutoArchive tab. It's in the
middle set of options.... at least here.

Do you mean "When posting to this folder use and then there is a drop down
box and my choices are "imp.post" or "forms"

Other choices in that dialog box are Show number of unread of show total
number of items

and Automatically generate Microsoft Exchange View.

That's on the General tab of that dialog. There should also be an
AutoArchive tab. Click the tab to show the AutoArchive properties

Oh, I had to reread your previous suggestion. I thought you meant to
right-click on an archived folder. I see it what you are talking about on
all of the regular folders.

Thanks.
