Archive folder

I am unable to view all my archive items. I opened file as instructed in
Outlook and opened outlook data file then saw archive.pst and tried to open
that and was unable to view anything. Where are all my archived files?
plrease help as some where up high importance.

I do not know how to see how view is set.

I opened view to see if it was hiding items bu dont know where to go on view
to check that. All i see is arrange navigate, etc.... how do I check the
view status of Archive then also how do I know if I am looking at the correct
Arxchive.pst folder to open since the one I see does not open...The items
that are achived for me are of high importance and until now, I did not know
I couldnt see them.
