archive error

User gets an error message when trying to run the auto archive for his
Outlook. Message states something to the words of Unable to archive/save to
outllok version 97-2002 because of unicode format. Need to save to a personal
folders .pst...

Something to that extent. I browsed the directories and the .pst file is in
he personal folders. Also the only version on the machine is Office 2003.
Any help or thoughts would be great thanks.

Hi Andreas,

Thanks for the reply, however I do not think this is the right fix. The
Outlook is 2003 not an older version. The website you directed me to is
talking about a .pst FROM Outlook 2003 TO an older version. The .pst file
that is located on the machine is FROM an older version and TO 2003. This
was alos done a while back and there was not any issues until now. The
archive process was working fine prior to today. His .pst file is over
150,000 kb but I do not believe that is the issue. I also just went and
added old in fron of pst (.oldpst) forcing it to create a new .pst file.
The error message still popped up. If you still think this can be solved
with your prior post let me know and I will go ahead and try it. Thanks
again for your response.
