Applying rules to a specific mail folder

Hello,

Is it possible to apply rules to a particular mail folder other than the
inbox (in Outlook 2003)?

Furthermore, is it possible in Outlook 2003 to have multiple "permanent
delete" rules (that are all processed)?

I would like to permanently delete more than 1 type of message, but the
permanent delete rule "stops processing any more rules" after the highest
order permanent delete rule has been applied.

yes, if you "Run Rules now" but not automatically as mail arrives.

if the message was deleted, there is nothing left to process... so it's
going to stop processing. If the first rule does not apply, then the message
should be processed by the next rule.
