applying personal settings

After joing to the Windows SBS 2003 my Windows XP (sp2) pc is waiting for
long time in 'applying personal settings'

Is there any way i can speed this up/solve this.

I have tried SBS is acting as a Gateway for Internet. DHCP server running
on that. Windows XP clients obtain IP address, Gateway and DNS from the DHCP
server.

Will this slowdon the start?

What else could i check ?
