Legitimate game patches can be found on the manufactures
website or from reputable sources such as fileplanet.com.
I don't suggest you download any run any code that isn't
from a trustworthy source. Practice safe surfing habits.

Patches are legit program updates and can usually be found on the game's
publisher's web site. Crack file is a file where a software pirate has
added/remove code. This is usually to defeat the game's copy-protection
scheme and you should BEWARE of this. Not all files are correctly and some
can have viruses them.
