Application error and shut down problems

Hi,
Lately my system is getting slower when I shut down windows that sometimes I
leave it for 15 minutes to finish. I tried to install last update for Skype
application but installation fails and stop responding, this happened
repeatedly till I lost hope, I performed a test for another application to
reinstall it no problems found.

I read somewhere that a few weeks (?) back there was a security issue with
Skype. Check your computer for viruses and malware. Once you are sure it is
clean you may need to uninstall/reinstall skype
