Appearance -> Effects Problems

Hi, I'm having a problem with the effects dialog under
Display Properties -> Appearance -> Effects... Whenever I
click on the "Effects..." button, nothing comes up.

It stopped working a few days after I got this computer.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Bob,

This can happen from using third party Desktop Organizers.

Suggestion:

Restore Desktop Tabs (Line 128)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

Thank you, but, unfortunately, that didn't fix the
problem... I still can't get into the effects dialog. The
program I used was called "Desktop Architect", if that
helps.

Any other suggestions?
