hey, when i try to view my mail on aol.com using internet
explorer, it gets to where i can view my mail but then it
stops responding. I didn't know if this wa a common
problem or if there was a fix for it. thanks a lot
 
Can this be the issue?

AOL News and E-mail Servers Are Not Compatible with Outlook Express
When you try to use Outlook Express to access America Online's news server,
you may receive the following error message:
The host <news server> could not be found. Please verify that you have
entered the server name correctly
