AOL in win xp home lan

Hi

I'm working with a desktop and a laptop at home (both with XP home edition). Now I'm trying to configure this littl
LAN to reach AOL from the laptop through the desktop - the isdn network adapter is installed in the desktop. I'm usin
AOL 9.0 on the desktop and it is working properly there, but I can't reach the internet from the laptop
The AOL connection ICS enabled, the desktop is with a second network adapter to connect with the laptop via switch
Any helpful hint available out there in cyber space

Call AOL support. The AOL network adapter is particular to AOL and plays by
its own rules. Tech support should be able to go over any special
configuration steps with you. Also, while you have them on the phone, ask
them about "MSL (multiple screen name login). It is automatic with only
some service types. For all others, AOL has to enabled it on their end
before it is available.

the AOL support over here (germany) isn't very helpful, they told me to call the "computer " or "operating system manufacturer".

anyhow many thanks, guess I'll try it again with the so called support.

You're welcome. They have online documentation somewhere on the site as
well. You have to dig around for it but often it's more helpful than the
support you will get on the phone.
