Anyway I can find out if I have USB 2.0?

Hi all

Is there any way I can check that I have USB 2.0 ports. I have 4 USB ports
but I dont know if they are 1.1 or 2.0. Anyway I can check?

The manual that came with your motherboard should tell you.

Under hardware system devices check the usb root hub and
it should indicate which version you have.

I've checked the book but it just says USB. The same in hardware devices.
Dosent say if its 1.1 or 2.0.

Or you can find the information in Control Panel - System - Hardware -
Device Manager under USB controllers

You are looking for 'Enhanced' as in 'Enhanced Host Controller (B1)
(the NEC version).

If that is there you have hardware *and* installed drivers. But you may
have hardware but no drivers - for that you would have to look on the
makers site for specs of the motherboard
