Anyone use Cendyne CD-RW drives?

Do these units work good? Do they use buffer underrun electronics? There is
no information on this either in the product manual or on Cendynes' website,
and I'd like to avoid making too many coasters.

TIA

Cendyne does not really produce cd-r's they put them together from
others' components. I once bought one, still have it, 48X12x48 and it
turned out to be a lite-on. There's actually a code on the package so
as to be able to see who the original manufacturer is. Here's a forum
with lots of info http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/index.php
