First time ive been on the scav i think however ;)

Im after a P4 HSF for a computer that was given me with bust mobo the other week

Stupid me only took CPU and then put heatsink back onto board and bracket and threw it away DOH!!

The CPU is only a 2.6 so just a basic PiB version of the HSF will do

Thanks :)

Hey, i have a spare HSF, its not from a Pentium 4 though, it is from a QX9650, but its still socket 775.

Is heavy so you can have it for £5 to cover postage.

I managed to overclock a 3.0Ghz Pentium D to 4.2Ghz with this.

Hold on if that is a socket 478 cpu I think that means socket 775 will not fit

can anyone verify that? If I am right.

Is it still for sale mate?

I still have this for sale,

https://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-3579369.php £12 inc postage.

An I think I have a standard 478 cooler kicking around somewhere you could have for £4 inc postage. If your interested I'll try and find it. I'm a bit busy for some reason at the moment so I am having to dash here and there all the time.
