I keep getting an error message on bootup: Isass.exe System error. When
trying to update a password, this return status indicates that the value
provided as the current passord is not correct. If I click OK or just do
nothing the system keeps rebooting and the cycle continues. I cannot even
start Windows in safe mode as the same thing happens. Same again if I start
last known good configuration. Am still running Windows XP Home SP1. No
recent software additions. I am not absolutely certain the first letter of
"Isass" is an "I" - it looks like a reverse "J" but I have no idea what this
character could be. I think Isass.exe does exist however.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
