Any word on any new single card dual GPU cards from ATI?

I'd love to get a nice dual GPU 1900 video card for the next system I build.
The dual GPU nvidia cards were about the same performance as SLI cards but
you only need one slot.

Yes, and a dual GPU nVidia card costs about $100 than two "normal" cards in
SLI. The card still requires an NF4 SLI motherboard, BTW.

What are you gonna use the other full-length PCIe slot for anyway?

I was asking about dual GPU ATI video cards. I did not read that the Dual
GPU nVidia card required an SLI board.

Read up the HardOCP review of the Asus 7800GT Dual. You need an SLI board.

Theoretically, if a dual-chip X1900XT card costed $150 more than two
"normal" X1900XT cards, would you still buy it? $150 is more than the price
of a Crossfire motherboard, by the way.

Thanks - I haven't seen that in any of the reviews- I'm trying to find a
product description that has system requirements.

If I could get a dual GPU single card x1900xt (or the next model depending
on when I buy) I would. I'd like a motherboard that lets me have plenty of
slots when fully populated. I'd like to have a XFI card, scsi controller,
possibly an additional USB card, modem - stuff I already have instead of
buying external devices all over again. Frankly I think they will have to
start making longer boards since an SLI dual card solution leaves on most
systems only about 1 slot open.
