Is there any way to compress the registry in XP i know
how to do it in 98 but i cant find a way to do it in XP
HELP ME

There is an NTREGOPT that comes with the good free registry backup tool,
ERUNT, from
http://home.t-online.de/home/lars.hederer/erunt

But don't expect very much compression in practice. The XP Registry is
big, and compression only gets rid of space released where things that
have been removed - this is not usually a large proportion
