disc cleanup

i was using the reg entry from dough's tweak worked find but i repaired my xp
and now the entry don't work in the registry any way to correct this?.here is
the entries
when i click on to open this what is shown
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VolumeCaches\Compress old files]
here is a different one i did it an no go

7 was default

To merge a .REG file contents to the registry, right-click on the .REG file and choose "Merge". Alternately, you can open Regedit.exe and import the .REG file manually, using the File - Import option.
