any relief in sight for the password probem in XP?

Hello,

I'm using Outlook 2002 and it keeps asking for my pop3 password every time I
try to retrieve mail. All I can seem to find on the internet is the
"remove-protected-storage-key" solution, but it doesn't work for me.

Are there other options besides this?
