Any good?

Just looking into business contact manager, but a few questions:

- If we don't already have it, can it be downloaded? At what cost?
- We have around 30 Office licenses for the team, but some are 2007, 2003
etc, will this affect anything? Would we have to standardise what version we
use first?
- We currently use public folders on Outlook to store contacts, how would
this affect BCM?
- What is sharing like with BCM?
- What about if we decided it didn't work for us, and wanted to go back to
just Outlook? Is this easy to do, would we lose data from after the update?
- What are user's thoughts on BCM? Do you like it? Easy to use?

Most importantly, are there any serious issues that could affect the data?

Thanks in advance for your views, advice and opinions.

Sorry, I don't know if you can edit posts on here (I can't seem to find
anything that suggests you can...)

I don't know a great deal about it either, I've seen a list of features etc,
but it seems a bit confusing. I've looked at a few screenshots of it, which
have told me a little bit about it, but if anyone can give more information
like what you use it for, what it can be used for etc, that would also be
appreciated!

YEP, database use dby BCM for 2007 is different from database use dby
outlook

BCM is completly seprerate from outlook, it uses it's own database. Maybe
you will find a problem when mail sare moved from inbox to public folder
(Can BCM still retrieve the mail?)

If yo use an english version, you can install ity on a server
- What about if we decided it didn't work for us, and wanted to go back
to
just Outlook? Is this easy to do, would we lose data from after the
update? AFAIK you will not lose data

No, I don''t like it at all. I'm using a non englisgh version of office, it
took me week sto figure out it can't run on a serevr. Moreover, BCM is only
for SALES. As I am into projects, it is not suited for my needs.
