Any free Guestbook recommendations? (not Bravenet)

Hiya,

Any one got any good recommendations for a free Guestbook service?

I've set up two bravenet guestbooks on my blog in the last few days
and both of them are very hit or miss whether they'll load or not -
can't be bothered to spend any more time on them!

Here is my list, links are like us, they die. If any of these links are
dead or are no longer freeware, at least you have the name of the
program which you put into a search engine like Google & maybe you can
let me know the latest info.
I am not recommending anything, my list gives you a starting point to
find something to suit your operating system & skill level. What will
work on my computer, may not be happy on yours. What I can understand,
re how to install & run, may not apply to you.

It's not really a "service," but it's free...

Two years ago I picked up a client who wanted a guestbook. I tried
BraveNet and stayed with them for about 30 days before I realized that
their guestbook wouldn't do the job.

I got my own free guestbook---and a few other free website goodies too.

Kristina Pfaff-Harris has written a collection of free CGI scripts at

They are free of charge and your to keep forever.
