Antivirus Message from Microsoft

NO IT IS NOT legit. Your computer is already infected. Download Malwarebytes
Anti-spyware. http://www.malwarebytes.com Install update and perform a full
scan. You will not only find the Anti-virus 2009, but much more...

Thanks, my computer was clean, likely because I didn't use the fake program

Thank you both so much for that post because that is exactly the problem I'm
having on my computer. I'm getting constant pop-ups re an antivirus program,
but I haven't downloaded it...fortunately. What's so strange is that my
McAfee "protection" program indicates that I have no viruses and am fully
protected. Obviously not the case.

McAfee probably prevented you from setting your message rules as well.
