Can I use Windows Mail to access my mail from MS Exchange 2003?

Can I use Windows Mail to access my (intranet only) mail on Microsoft
Exchange 2003?

I replaced my old XP with a Vista (Business) and I have no Outlook yet so
I'm using Windows Mail. I can access my web-based emails with Windows Mail
but I can't get my mails from our local Exchange 2003.

I used pop.servername.mail.local and smtp.servername.mail.local but an error
message appears (not enough memory?).

I tried imap.servername.mail.local and smtp.servername.mail.local with the
same result.

I've search the various forums and someone suggested it is being caused by
antivirus. I'm using Panda Antivirus 2009 but its firewall is disabled. I
allowed Windows Mail in the Windows Firewall. My Windows Mail still will not
access Exchange 2003.

Please help.

Whether it is feasible or not depends on how your Exchange admin
has set up the Exchange server. Ask him. If he is not familiar with
Windows Mail, tell him it works the same as Outlook Express.
