antivirus conflict # 2

Computer Associates anti-virus software will not auto
load with ms spyware running, must manually load, might
be too late at that point.

What version number? I've got Microsoft Antispyware installed on a couple
or three machines with EZ-Trust antivirus from CA on them--no issues I've
heard about or observed, so far.

Thanks for giving the details. That should help the Microsoft staff
monitoring these groups replicate the issue.

I'm not sure I have machines running that version--I'll try to check in the
office tomorrow, which version I am running on several machines.

I am running version 7.0.53 on XP SP2 with no problems. eZ does add
two LSP layers so this would explain some of the posts stating that when
there winsock gets broken then so does eZ. Suggest checking the
system explorers option and inspecting the Winsock LSP's. Mine shows:-

CA ISafe LSP over [MSAFD Tcpip [TCP/IP]]
and
CA ISafe LSP

CA have issued a bug fix for there LSP layers but not too sure what this
fixes - down load from:-
<ftp://ftp.ca.com/pub/myeTrust/test/FixedLSP.zip>

I just checked both of the CA ftp down load servers:-
<ftp://ftpez.ca.com>
<ftp://ftp.ca.com>
and the latest version for down load seems to be 7.0.53. Just
wondering where you obtained the later version from.
