Antispyware Problems

I Have recently downloaded Microsoft Antispyware
including the updates and Windows Validation. I have
tried a scan but at about 1700 files it freezes after
having found an item "Tiny Browser". This has occurred
three times and each time I can only recover by turning
the power off. I am running Adaware, Blaster,Spybot,and
AVG. Is it necessary to turn any of these off during
download. I have now removed the programme for the time
being. (Windows XP Home SP2)

Ouch.

Start your system in safe mode. Try running MAS there. If that doesn't work
use another product such as AdAware to reduce the spyware load and then try
again.

I like Sandi's suggestions. How long have you let it run when it "freezes"?
