Antispyware pauses computer and itself

I have now seen several times this happening. When
Antispyware has been installed it just hangs computer and
start new bulleyes to right down corner where there can be
even 6-7 of them side by side. Task monitor tell me there
is several services running and mount reserved memory is
rising higher. Suddenly all bulleyes disappear and
computer is working fine again for some time. This been
happened at XPP with SP2 Finnish version at least. Many of
users are from domain and added to administrator group to
a local computers. Is there something to do for this or is
Antispyware needed to remove from those pc´s?

I don't know a cure for this behavior, which is seen only on a small number
(relatively) of machines. I'd remove the beta and wait for a new build, I
think.

Well, its beta and you should expect these kind things especially in a
production environment. Maybe you double clicked the executable few times
many without knowing you did.

Same software have been in market earlier with different
brand than MS and quite long time also. So even MS its
calling it as Beta its beta form them nomore. I did not
clicked anything for causing this to happen. It starts
copying it self in memory without any physical reason.
This is very aggressive problem and need to be fixed asp.
Computer come unusable with Antispyware and this problem.

We did have here test-compase for anti-spyware products
end of last year and early version os "MS" Antispyware did
win that contest with clear numbers. So we really would
like to use it for war against Spyware.

Very sad list to read, thanks!

I really dont understand this, same software was allready
before at market so was it containing really that much of
know bugs at that time?

Here's what I think you are seeing in these groups: Admittedly, the number
of people who come to a group like this, even with an HTML interface, is a
relatively small proportion of the users of the product. This product,
however, has been downloaded well in excess of 3,000,000 times. So--the
traffic here is pretty light, considering.

I believe you are seeing a real bug--and obviously one significant enough to
be a real concern to both the vendor and the user. However, it isn't one
seen by the vast majority of the users--that's the nature of betas--they
bring out things that aren't easily seen by the developers or in labs, etc.

REPLY-----I have the same problem. About every minute or
so my computer will hang for about 1-2 seconds. It's not
to noticable normally but when playing solitare the cards
when dealt will actually freeze in mid air then resume.
Turn on task manager, R. click task bar, click task
manager, click performance and watch the CPU useage. You
may see it jump to 100% every minute or so, this is when
it hangs. I haven't found a solution but turning
Spysweeper off will stop it. I assume you have this. I
hope this is corrected; Spysweeper is grest other wise. I
have been evaluating a lot of anti-spyware programs over
the last few months and it has been the best by far.
Reduced my spyware to almost zero. If anyone finds a
solution, pleast post.

What's the full name of the antispyware app that you are talking about?
