Since it won't install, just delete the package. May I suggest going to http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/default.mspx
for best practices. Be sure to watch the video!
There are other freeware/shareware scanners out there that will work on
Win98 & ME
systems. Thinking Spybot and Adaware just to name two.
