Another TV Tuner Not Found

I've noticed a number of "TV Tuner Not Found" issues on this board after
installing Vista. I have a Sony VGC RA 842G Media Center Edition with an
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM) card. I updated the TV
Tuner drivers library (for Vista) from Sony website (3 different times). I
even turned off the Norton Internet Security 2007 for one of the attempts.
Vista still tells me that "Tuner Not Found" just before it crashes. Is there
an inherent problem with Vista on recognizing updated tuner drivers? Any help
will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a FlyPlatluim33 that vista has installed drivers for but media center
will not find.

The only think that will work is a new driver from sony, here is what their
website says:
For computers purchased before October 26th 2006
Sony will providing a DVD kit to upgrade applications, utilities and drivers
($9.95 Shipping and Handling not included). This kit does not include the
Windows Vista operating system, which you will need to purchase separately
from either Microsoft® or a local retailer.
