I just installed SP2 last night. On the first reboot, I get the message that
my virus software (SystemWorks2003) is recognized but XP can't determine if
it's current. I went to the Symantec site and scanned for new updates and
everything I have is current. Is there a way to tweak the Security Center to
see that my virus definitions are up-to-date, or should I just turn this
feature off?

Thanks,

Run Symatec's LiveUpdate. There seems to be an update to NAV that allows it
to talk to Windows (although Symantec recommends turning that feature off.
Maybe they think it's insecure for any outside process to talk to NAV).

Hi

As far as I know, Symantec haven't released an update for the 2003
products, only the 2004 version. Someone that just contacted Symantec
Support said that they was considering releasing an update for 2003
versions as well.

Several have reported that installing the 2004 WMI update on NAV
2003 works fine:

For Norton 2004 products:

After installing XP Service Pack 2, the message "Your computer might
