Another Power Down Issue

Dell 4600C will not power off PC when shutting Windows XP down. Installed SP2
and have AD-Adware & PC Shield Anti Virus/Firewall application that report no
problems. Have run "msconfig" and narrowed down to two services that when not
enabled will power off PC OK. Services are "Computer Browser" &
"Crytographics".

Are there any known issues with SP2 related to problem? Could I have virus
in one of these services that AV is not finding?

Leave them disabled, they are not needed. See below URL (website)

Thanks - good info - appreciate the help

What I did is uninstalled SP2 and everything went back to normal operation.
Not really sure what happen, PC is farely new. Maybe when I have time to burn
I'll attempt to try SP2 again at a latter date.
