Another (possibly new) Stop 7b question

Hi guys,

I normally dont come to the forums for one of these, but this stop 7b
has me stumped. Heres whats happening.

I have a perfectly good slx file for my target using Enhanced Write
Filter and including the Ewf enabling components : (Enhanced Write
Filter, EWF Ntldr, EWF COnsole App, Disk Defrag Disabled).

I remove all of those components and replace them with the standard NT
Loader.

A dependency check shows nothing is missing.

The image goes to stop 7b during FBA.

What i dont understand is why the image would stop working after
removing the EWF. ANy ideas?

Did you wipe the target disk clean so the EWF volume partition was removed?
Did any of the chipset or disk drive components somehow get removed?

Hi Sean,

That one may be it, do I need to re-create the entire partition with
diskpart?

I tend to use an sdi disk loaded through sdiloader and then install
the contents via sdimgr, im working with a Disk On Module.

I suppose I should make a non-ewf sdi and try that?

I try to avoide SDI transfer. I use XPE booting from USB or Winternal's
Remote Recover.

Try without EWF, and see what happens.
