Heh, pc world.

Thought id leave that part out to avoid any pc world prejudice :p

Seems the plan might not have worked tho :)

I thought the specs were quite good though, is there a reason i shouldnt buy from pc world, can i do better elsewhere? Are the specs in fact terrible?

Thx again.

There is NO reason NOT to buy from PCWorld ... they don't build PCs. ;)

The 'problem' is they put profit before the customer, despite what they say. You can get some very nice priced components though, like HDs & graphics cards.

There are a few things wrong with the spec to price ... the 6200TC64M is an integrate[size=-1]d graphics card which only has 64MB of it's own memory and WILL use your ordinary ram to bolster itself ... no good for games ... and that then tells me it is using a very poor MB.

So, the rest of the spec' is worthless to me without a good MB ;)

Processor Type: Pentium 4 524
Clock-Speed: 3.06GHz
Front Side BUS:
533MHz
Cache:
1 mb
Operating-System:
Windows XP Media Center 2005

1024 mb
Hard Disk Capacity:
160 Gb
Graphics Memory:

Same problem here?

If so, what sort of websites would be good to check out?

Im looking for a fairly good gaming pc within the budget, with windows xp.

I think the ATI x300se has had problems, who is this PC made by?
And i don't rate the Media Centre O/S, just another gimmick from MS:p
