Hi, I'm having a little problem with my taskbar. I know
this might not be the approprite place to post this (but
there is NO support Forums to be found!) but here I go.
When I had updated my windows XP through the internet,
(July 2003)I've nocited something definately different on
my taskbar.
After the installation and the reboot, my taskbar won't
just simply show any type of window I have open. For
example as of right now I have this 'post a new message'
window opened. But on my task bar it just wouldn't show it.
It's not like my taskbar is frozen. No no, that's a
completely different problem from this one. It just simply
won't show the little tabs that I have a window currently
opened. Same goes to every application I have on my
computer. the quick launch buttons work, the Global IME
works, and the clock is still there.
I minimized it, expanded it, did everything. still won't
show. So only way for me to flip flop through these
windows is to manually click them or hit alt+tab.
I did reboot the OS, by clicking on Repair from the boot
CD. So my WinXP got overwritten. took some time but It was
worth it. Because now the tabs started showing again! So I
thought i had fixed the problem. But no. The problem came
back as I have installed the updates and rebooted my
computer.
Please guys, what must I do?
