annoying Search Bar...can't get rid of it!

Brian

This search bar appeared in my browser about a week ago.
I can't seem to get rid of it. Even if I go into the
Toolbars menu and shut it off, it re-appears as soon as I
refresh the page. I looked in Add/Remove Programs to see
if I could uninstall it, tried running spyware removers,
Adaware, etc...nothing helps! I even ran Norton Uninstall
to clean out my registry, but it's still there.

The search bar lists itself as "ksteashckwk" in the
Toolbar menu. If anyone could tell me how to get rid of
this blasted thing, I'd appreciate it.

Here's another thing you can try if teh spyware/ad-aware
removal doesn't help...
Click start/run typ regedit
search for the name of the toolbar...
when found remove the associated registry key...
click find next...and so on...
Be carefull, removal of registry keys can damage your
system, if your not comfortable doing this, then don't !
