Can't get rid of seatch toolbar

Somehow IE 6.0.2 reloads the "Search" toolbar every time I
launch the browser. Even after I deselect it on the
toolbar menu it defaults back to having the search toolbar
every time I re-launch the browser. I HATE IT! And there
seems to me no way to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Brian,

The settings are stored in the registry. download the patch to disable the
search toolbar from appearing:
http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/sramesh2k/reg/IEToolbar.reg
