Animation with a restricted account.

When I log in to a restricted account on the computer and open PPT and
create a show with graph animations, they will run sooo slow.
Does any one have any ideas?
 
I assume you've compared the speed to a non-restricted account?

Only thing I can think is that hardware acceleration needs to be changed. I
know I had a locked down system for awhile that wouldn't even let me change
that setting, and it caused me all kinds of problems.
 
Yes it does work with an admin or power user account. That was my first
thought on the hardware acceleration but I just wanted to make sure I was
not missing anything.

Now are you talking about the hardware acceleration in the PowerPoint?

What does a 'restricted account' mean? Could this prevent animation from
functioning properly when running the slide show on another person's pc?

The restricted account is => User can operate the computer and save
documents, but cannot install programs or change settings.

To tell the truth, I'm not sure if PPT's hardware acceleration can be
changed with a restricted user account or not.
