Animation When Closing MSWord

How do I turn off what I call window animation when I close MS Word??
When I close a Word the outline of the windows shrink toward
the bottom of the screen and disappear.

Tools - Customize - and there is Menu Animations. Just choose Default.

I did that before but it continues. There are no other menu animations
other than MS Word. I checked System/Advanced/Performance in XP and
Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing is unchecked.

One other observation. This "animation" seems to occur only
when saving a document and closing MS Word.
