I am looking for an answer? gif files work in older versions of
office. it is only in office 2007 that they do not. A troll? Have to
take that as an insult.
Take it as an insult, then, because asking what right a company has to do
with it's own property is rather trollish.
You want an answer to what right do they have?
It is their software, lock stock and barrel, and they have the right to do
whatever they want with it. They want to remove swaths of features that
customers like? They can do it. They want to add swaths of features that
customer's won't like? They can do it.
It's their product.
They can do whatever they darn well please with it.
