Animation in slide with mpeg video

I am running an mpeg video clip in a PPT 2003 presentation. I have set up
custom animation to have a sound clip play part way through the video, and
that works fine. I have also set up custom animation to have a text box
appear during the video (after the sound clip), but when I run the slide the
text box does not show. I've tried all the "appear" options (before video,
after video, etc.), I've tried setting it to appear on a mouse click, and
I've ordered the text box to the top. Is there a way to have the text box
appear while the video is stilling running?

Are you trying to put text on top of the video? If so, sorry it can't be
done. Video always plays in front of any PPT object.
