Chink!

Hello

I'm trying to animate some text using word art.
I want 5 lines of text to drop in one after another automatically ie. not
requiring a mouseclick
It works Ok with plain text
but when I replace some parts with word art the animation requires a mouse
click to dropin each line.
I have selected Start animation > automatically in Order and timing under
custom animation and the preview seems to show it correctly.

Is there something I'm missing?

many thanks
CH!

Chink,
In the taskpane custom animation, select all items except the first, and
choose start after previous. You can even set a delay between the items,
double click on an item choose the timing tab and set the delay. Now with
one click the list will start with the first item followed automatically
with the other items.
Does this help or have I misread your question completely.

That seems to be how I already had it configured
The first text is on mouse click but the others are automatically set to
appear 2 seconds after each other.
However when saved as a .pps and run each animation waits for the mouse
click
which isnt right

?

Chink,
Is this happening when you double click on the file in Windows Explorer?
You probably need to reassociate PPS with PPT as opposed to the PPT Viewer.

Hello Sonja,
Strange, doesn't work here even when you set the timing to a more reasonable
setting. I' have put in 2 seconds, saved as a pps and it doesn't work. The
only thing I can find is that the first WordArt object is set to begin after
previous in stead of after click or with previous. When you change that then
it works.

It worked for me
I didnt realise 02:00 equals 120 seconds
Boy do I feel silly now!
many thanks
