Issues with word art slowing my animations

Hello,
I am using pwpt 03 and I have a slide with about 40 custom animations that
run perfectly UNTIL I add word art to my slide...
Once I add the word art for some odd reason my animations slow to a horrible
crawl and it ruins the effect of the animation...
Help!

Hi Lucy,
I appreciate your help. I followed this article step by step and
unfotunately it did not help. I aslo tried changing the resolution b/c I had
read on some site that sometimes the resolution can slow animations.
This problem seems very bizarre to me...
Do you have any other ideas or suggestions?

Hi Lucy,
Thank you for your help with this presentation.
Once I reduced the number of animations on the slide my presentation worked
fine with the word art.
I took all the seperate lines of showerhead spray off and created a freeform
object with the "spray" fill and animated them with the "blinds" effect like
you suggested.
This worked really well and this animation was more effective then what I had.
