Animation Adds a Line to a Photo

I'm stumped. I have 3 photos with black backgrounds, which bleed off the edge
of my slide. I'd like to have them fade in after the text bullets appear, but
when I add an animation effect, a thin white line appears on the edge of the
entire slide when the photos fade in. What are my options to make this effect
work?
Thanks

Hi Steve & ppt diva

I have no answer but I can partly repro.

If I show a 4:3 slide on my widescreen laptop AND there's a full slide pic
or dark shape AND that pic/shape is animated AND it's in 2007 I get a white
line screen right only. No animation = no white line, doesn't happen in
other versions of PowerPoint . Shown at 16:10 the line is off screen. Maybe
it's the video driver but as I say it's OK in other versions on the same
laptop.

Nothing so far fixes it!
