Animated text off at slide exit. Return on mouse click.

In power point 2003, using animated text, I have animated text come in on a
mouse click. On exit, how do I have text remain off until tne next mouse
click? At present on exit, the animated text is visible on slide.

I am not certain I fully understand from your description what it being
accomplished, but here is my guess:
Click 1 - text animates in
Click 2 - visible text exits and new text animates in

To Animate:
1. Select first text and apply appropriate animation (FADE IN >> FAST >> ON
CLICK)
2. Select second text and apply same animation (FADE IN >> FAST >> ON CLICK)
3. Select first text and apply an EXIT animation (FADE OUT >> VERY FAST >>
WITH PREVIOUS)
4. Repeat for all text on slide
