First of all-I applaud the responders to the myriad of questions that come to the discussion arena. I have two questions. One question-is there a published document that would be a "cool of the cool" book to use as a reference so that I would not have to ask so many questions and take your guys' time up? Second question-I created a website and used purchased templates. The templates had a swish graphic-everything works swell on a PC platform, but on a MAC the graphic does not even show up. I thought it could be a browser problem so at school we downloaded the Flash software that I thought would take care of the problem. Still no animation. Is this a MAC platform issue? Thanks in advance for your response.

can't give a book recommendation unless I knew "how hard" you were going to
use the software.
on the second question it maybe that the "plug-in" is written in such a way
that the Mac isn't seeing it. you may want to go to www.jimcoaddins.com and
get a flash embedder and delete the animation from your page and reinstall
it there using either the right code by hand or with an addin like jimco
has. there may also be something in the swish progrma that writes the tags
to a file for you.

Duane,

If the SWI files aren't working out for you, go to
http://www.itinysoft.com/ and download the free (trial) utility to turn
your SWI files into .GIF files or .AVI files. That way they are compatible
with other OS's and you don't have to worry about them having flash
installed. :o)

Good Luck,
Carl
