animated GIF file

I have a gif file that was sent to me via email. when I click the file it
is an animated picture. I forward to my son and he just gets a plain
picture. It will not animate.
 
His browser is probably set to not play animations in
webpages. IE/Tools/Internet Options/advanced tab.

Reassign the animated gif to IE.
