an app called XSYY

hello all,

I found it in the Startup folder.
It seems it was blocking Norton Anti
virus, because I was only able to scan
properly after I removed XSYY.

anyone knows what this is ?

In general, programs that prevent antivirus software from running are
usually viruses themselves, trying not to be detected.

Many of these viruses use random names so searching the Internet on the
filename won't find anything.

Can you recover this from your recycle bin to a temporary location and run
antivirus against it? That would probably tell you what virus is it.

Antivirus vendors' websites have lots of information on current viruses and
are probably your best resource for further information.
