P PotGuy Joined Sep 17, 2005 Messages 1,934 Reaction score 0 Jan 9, 2006 #5 if you want speed then price/performance wise single core is still the way to go for a good few years yet i would imagine amd's new fx processor is going to be a dual core 2.6ghz - i.e 2 fx-55's - and is going to be about $900 i think
