Do you have Kazaa installed, If you do uninstall it
there's alot better file sharing programs around if you
need them If you dont have Kazaa ignore this but it comes
with Kazaa most of the time, Im going to include kazaa in
the fix but ignore the files for P2P and kazaa if you do
not have this.
(Copy this to notepad and save it so you can still view
this in safe mode)
Goto Start menu then Add/remove screen and remove these
if found :
Kazaa
Altnet
P2P Networking
Next run a scan in safe mode with MSAS (Reboot and keep
tapping F8 then choose safe mode from the list)and remove
anything found.
Then delete these folders if they still exist :
C:\Program Files\Altnet
C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\
C:\Program Files\Kazaa
Clear the temp and prefetch files
Goto start menu then run and type
%temp%
Delete the contents of this folder
Goto start then run and type
prefetch
Delete the contents of this folder
Then reboot back to normal mode
