Hello. I just upgraded from Windows Me to Windows 2000
Professional (5.00.2195, Service Pack 4) on my PC. When
logging in as user Windows User, however, I am frequently
unable to run any program and get the message "Access to
the specified device, path, or file is denied" when
attempting to do so. I use the word 'frequently' here
quite deliberately. Sometimes this problem appears upon
login, at other times there is no problem and I can run
any program. Logging in again usually causes the problem
to be rectified. The user Windows User is a member of the
Administrators group. Additionally, user Administrator
experiences the same problem. How do I stop this problem
from occurring on this machine? Please help! Thank you.
